I thought I’d take a moment to update you all on where I’m at with Walls of Ash.
Laurie and I are on the second read-through for editing, we are about a third of the way in and things are going much more smoothly than the first time around! When we’ve finished this stretch, we will be doing one final read through to check for any missed errors along the way. Laurie has been absolutely amazing and I cannot thank her enough for her insights and patience! Laurie, you rock!
Cover art is still in the works. There are a couple of good ideas on the table, one specifically that I am hoping will work out. I’m glad to have an old friend working on the art and can’t wait to see the finished product so I can reveal it to all of you!
Now for the important news! I am so excited to tell you that I have decided to release the prologue and first two Chapters in advance. They will be posted here on my blog both as a post and as a download for free! As many of you know, Walls of Ash is the first book in a series that I plan to stretch from its beginning with Tamsin Rhineholt in 1816 to the early 1900’s. If I have the timeline correct, and it is already planned out, The Rhineholt Series should end with about five books, total. I am still toying with titles for the series, but I’ve narrowed it down to three: The Rhineholt Series, The Rhineholt Diaries, and Daughters of Rhineholt. Feel free to weigh in with your thoughts in the comments section on which you like better! I plan to have this decided by the end of the month so that I can utilize the series title on the book cover.
Thanks for keeping up with my progress. I will have a date of the pre-release chapters for you shortly!

I’m still a fan of “Daughters of Rhineholt,” but ultimately, I think fans will simply call them the “Rhineholt series,” even if the definitive name is “Daughters” 🙂
